SPECIAL EVENTS 

Welcome to Adventure Services Special Events. These are the pages for our special events in the Middle East, primarily the United Arab Emirates and Oman. We have adventure activities ranging from trekking, mountain biking and abseiling in the Hajar Mountains, to desert expeditions in the breathtaking Rub al Khali (the Empty Quarter), kayaking expeditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Indian Ocean.

Some of the special events we have planned for 2001 and 2002 include geocaching races, a series of one day adventure races, participation in the Degreee Confluence Project, expeditions to Oman, the United Arab Emirates and points between.

Our events are not guided tours, but rather participatory adventures in which you will learn not just the skills needed to reach your destination but also about yourself and what you are truly capable of. At the end it you will be left with a deep sense of accomplishment.

We are not a tour company and we don't want to be one. What we do is offer you the chance to be a part of the experience, not just a lump on a seat. All of our programs have one thing in common. You are the driving force behind the action.
