TEAM BUILDING PROGRAMS

Below are some of the adventure activities that we use as a framework for our programs. Most programs use a mixture of activities to progressively challenge the delegates and enable them to move to higher performance levels at their own pace. Knowing how to work together as a team is an important skill that is often taken for granted. However, many problems in the workplace can be traced to not knowing how to work together. Adventure Services programs are designed to teach critical group work skills that will be transferred to the workplace. Our programs address such issues as:

COMMUNICATIONS

TRUST

TAKING AND MANAGING RISK

QUALITY CONTROL

PROBLEM SOLVING

CRISIS MANAGEMENT

SETTING AND MEETING GOALS

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

ACTIVE PARTICIPATION

MUTUAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Team Challenge Circuit. A program of events which requires teams to work together in order to successfully complete the various stations. This program is perfect for an afternoon’s activity to bring a conference or training session to a constructive conclusion and is suitable for groups ranging from 10 to 200 in size. While the separate events are physical in nature, the real challenge lies in utilizing the capabilities of the group through communication, cooperation, planning and innovative problem solving.

Hidden Wadi: One of our premiere adventure programs, combining problem solving challenges with orienteering and abseiling. Hidden Wadi is a lost and difficult place located somewhere in the Hajar Mountains. It is said that once trapped there, escape is almost impossible. The team must pass the Spider’s Web, conquer the Wells of Knowledge, discover the location of the Acid Pools and abseil past the Thunder Falls to reach the rendezvous. Only those teams that possess the ability to work closely together and constantly innovate under pressure will ever be seen again.

Desert Expeditions/Retreats: Desert expeditions to the mountains and desert of the UAE and the Musandam Peninsula. Designed around the time constraints and training needs of the client. These trips take the delegates out of the normal distractions of the city, enabling them to focus their attention on the tasks at hand, building bonds and capabilities based on shared experiences and challenges.
